ACT students

Linden High School recently held an in-house ACT exam for its students, yielding impressive results across the board. Students performed exceptionally well, with many achieving benchmark scores in key areas such as English, Math, Reading, and Science. The school proudly announced a collective average composite score of 20, reflecting the students' hard work and the school's emphasis on academic preparedness.

Among the outstanding achievers were two freshmen, Londynn Gould and Derente Charleston, who demonstrated exceptional promise with composite scores of 19 and 18, respectively. Their performance is particularly notable given that the ACT is typically taken by upperclassmen. Londynn and Derente’s results are a testament to their dedication and the strong academic foundation provided by Linden High School.

Principal Motley expressed pride in the students' efforts, stating, "These results highlight the commitment of our students and faculty. We are especially proud of our freshmen who have risen to the challenge and set the bar high for future tests."

In preparation for the in-house ACT, the school implemented a series of study sessions and practice exams aimed at familiarizing students with the test format and boosting their confidence. Teachers provided personalized support, helping students identify areas for improvement and honing their test-taking skills.

Linden High School continues to prioritize academic achievement and is dedicated to ensuring all students are equipped for success. "The ACT is a critical component of college admissions, and our goal is to help students reach their full potential," said Mrs. Rolison. "This is just the beginning of many more achievements for our students."

The school plans to continue offering in-house ACT opportunities, ensuring that every student has the resources needed to perform at their best. As the year progresses, students are encouraged to build on this momentum and aim even higher for future tests.
