The AHSAA State Track Meet, scheduled for this Friday through Saturday, will see Asia Zanders, Charmigne Alvis, Makayla Bright, Taira Bright, Fancee Rainey, Shaukala Reese, Jayla Price, Nikendra Anthony, Adrien Sewell, Keilyn Edwards, Ricky Parson, Sakhi McIntosh and Coach Lockett, Little, Taylor and Davis of the coaching staff, leading the Linden High’s team in various events. From sprints to hurdles, jumps to throws, these students have demonstrated their versatility and prowess in multiple disciplines, making them formidable contenders at the state level.
The journey to the state meet has been one of challenges and triumphs for these athletes. Countless hours of practice, dedication, and determination have prepared them for the intensity and competition that awaits in Cullman.
